Grand Master's COVID-19 Message
The Most Worshipful Grand Master of The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge, Free & Accepted Masons, Jurisdiction of Indiana, PHA, the Honorable Eugene Anderson Jr., issued the following statement regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
I continue to pray for the good health of all our members, their families and our communities throughout the Jurisdiction of Indiana, as well as our fellow Americans. While we are mindful of the COVID-19 pandemic and the many changes it has brought in our daily lives, the Prince Hall Family of the Jurisdiction of Indiana remains committed to the safety and well-being of our members, their families and our communities. I continue to stress that each of us must take the necessary precautions to protect ourselves and our families.
All members owing allegiance to The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge, Free & Accepted Masons, Jurisdiction of Indiana, PHA and Prince Hall Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, Jurisdiction of Indiana, PHA shall continue to observe the suspension of all Masonic/Fraternal activities until May 31, 2020, unless additional communication is provided.
Lodges and Chapters are not to be used for any reason until further notice. Lodge & Chapter meetings may be conducted via teleconferencing. In cases where business may need to be conducting, I authorize primary and fiscal officers to do so virtually so that we minimize group interactions at the lowest scale, while obtaining the appropriate approval necessary.
The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge F&AM, Jurisdiction of Indiana PHA shall continue to monitor the federal, state and local government recommendations. We continue to urge all members of the Prince Hall Masonic family to comply. As we receive further clarification and additional guidance, we will act accordingly while continuing to best serve our communities. We understand that this is a time of increased uncertainty and wish everyone a quick return to normalcy.
46th Most Worshipful Grand Master
Eugene Anderson Jr.
